Had kidney stones blasted today.

I hurt, even through the high end dose of the pain meds.

Head hurts to boot. Tired, but not sleepy.

Have WAY to much to get done today, so I am going to try to sleep.

A larger post will be forthcoming, as I am trying to jot it down. Writing my paper for school (while on pain meds, I don’t recommend it) stole most of my free time and creative thought processes.

Now, I try to sleep. After a picture of my darling boy… this was taken after he fell asleep nursing before my procedure today. I will apologize for quality, as it was taken with my phone. This was my view of him, laying on my chest. He now spans from my chin down to below the tops of my knees…

Milk drunk baby is milk drunk, and content.

I am a doc. When I had my kidney stone I called several of my patients to apologize for not being empathetic enough when they had theirs. They hurt! Migraines are very bad too. (I’ve also had a few of them)

- I have to appreciate a doctor who will do that. I have dealt with the stones and have had an emergency c-section and the recovery that went with. I would rather go through the latter again. Thankfully, since the 16th, I am feeling better. And also, I have been managing the migraines differently, and my quality of life is better. Amazing how little changes help SO very much!
